Now, as an adult, I get to work for the very place
I grew up loving. The place and the team I once
cheered for, heard stories about, and proudly
represented in those iconic black and gold
uniforms — I now get to be an even bigger part
of Packer Nation. As a teacher in the Colquitt
County School District, each day I have the
opportunity to educate, encourage, and cheer on
future Packers. I get to watch kids grow up in the
same school system I once attended and see
students participate in the very sports I loved
and took pride in. I get to see students excel in
life and run into them later, watching their faces
light up as they share their success stories. I’ve
even been fortunate enough to teach alongside
Jodi Beth Stuckey
some of the most amazing educators who were
once my own teachers.

and hopefully others — to never underestimate
what you are capable of, and to always work
hard and be kind. I hope that my efforts can

“Being nominated for Teacher of the Year
is a true honor. I feel incredibly unworthy,

inspiring educators.
I value them, appreciate them, and cheer for
them just as others did for me.
To sum it up: camaraderie, teamwork, and pride
— that is what being a Packer is all about. That’s
what makes being born and raised in a small
town truly unforgettable and a place I love to call
home. The motto still holds true for me as an
adult: Once a Packer, always a Packer.
